The sets of enclosures to despatches (items) are arranged in numerical (by despatch number) and chronological order from the front to the rear of the volume. The sets of enclosures are not preceded by abstracts of contents, and are not separated by dividers. The numbers of the enclosures are recorded for reference on the verso of the last folio of each enclosure, along with the original reference, and a description of each enclosure.
