This volume consists of collections to Bombay Political Despatches from the Secretary of State for India to the Government of Bombay Political Department, Number 32, Part 2, dated 1859.The collections consist of papers forwarded with the Government of Bombay’s Political Despatches to the Secretary of State for India. The collections were compiled for information purposes for the Secretary of State for India to compose the answering Political Despatches, which are not included in the collections. There is more than one collection to most of the Political Despatches.
Each collection includes a cover sheet, stating to which Bombay Political Despatch from the Secretary of State for India it is a collection, which Political Despatch from the Bombay Government it is in response to, and the subject of the collection.
