Papers relating to trade with Mesopotamia during and after the First World War:
Part 9 concerns the lifting of restrictions on trade between Baghdad and Mesopotamia [Iraq], under the Trading with the Enemy (Occupied Territory) Proclamation of 1915.
Part 10 concerns the return or disposal of enemy (Turkish or German) property and other assets in Mesopotamia [Iraq] and the Persian Gulf at the end of the First World War.
Each part includes a divider which gives the subject and part numbers, the year the subject file was opened, the subject heading, and a list of correspondence references contained in that part by year. This is placed at the back of the correspondence.
