This volume consists of correspondence relating to Sir Sultan Muhammad Shah, Aga Khan. Issues discussed include his award of the Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts to maintain the peace between Turkey and the Western Powers since the Mudros Armistice (1918).
Also includes telegrams from Ismailia communities to the Bombay Presidency thanking the British Government for the award of eleven gun salutes to the Aga Khan and correspondence relating to the Aga Khan and the Khoja community including the status of their cemeteries in East Africa.
Correspondents include the Aga Khan; the Secretary of State for the Colonies; the High Commissioner for Zanzibar; and the British Resident of Zanzibar.
Each part includes a divider which gives the subject and part numbers, the year the subject file was opened, the subject heading, and a list of correspondence references contained in that part by year. This is placed at the back of the correspondence.
