Bound volume containing the reports for 1828-1839 inclusive, with the exception of 1833, when no new report was produced.
The following reports all contain an address on the purposes and practices of the Literary Fund and the 'Bye-Laws of the Society.' Each report also lists the Fund's officers (Patron, President, Vice-Presidents, Council, Committee, Registrars, Treasurers, Auditors and the Clerk) and lists alphabetically the donors and subscribers to the Fund, along with details of their financial contributions. Reports also contain an abstract of the Fund’s cash account.

1828 (40 pp. + 4 pp.): 'Anniversary Poem for the Literary Fund Society', by William Thomas Fitzgerald (additional 4 pp.)

1831 (40 pp.): The text of the Address is changed in this and subsequent reports to a text dated 9 May 1831, which is suffixed with a note thanking 'the Editor and Proprietor of the Quarterly Review for the very handsome and influential notice of this Society given in the pages of that excellent Journal', with extract
1832 (40 pp.): Contains note on the lack of a new subscriber list for 1833
1834 (41 pp.): This and subsequent reports add a list of 'Benefactors of Twenty Pounds and Upwards Deceased', headed by George IV
1835 (41 pp.): (no additional content)
1836 (43 pp.): In 1836 the office of Clerk was changed to that of Secretary (the first being Cusack Patrick Roney), and the post of Collector established as a separate office. The list of officers was updated to reflect this. The report also contains a 'List of Donations and Subscriptions announced at the Anniversary.'
1837 (41 pp.): No Secretary listed this year, as the Committee were in the process of appointing a new one
1838 (49 pp. + 16 pp.): Charter of the Society; Whittington Henry Landon listed as Secretary; List of 'Donations and Subscriptions announced at the Anniversary'; 'To the Most Noble The Marquis of Lansdowne', an address to the Anniversary Dinner by Peter Anichini, 26 May 1838 (additional 16 pp.)
1839 (51 pp.): Charter of the Society; Octavian Blewitt listed as Secretary; List of 'Donations and Subscriptions to the Literary Fund Anniversary'
At the end of the volume are a 4 pp. 'Address on the Fiftieth Anniversary of the Literary Fund', with statistical tables, and a printed sheet of 'Songs, Glees &c. to be sung at the Fiftieth Anniversary of the Literary Fund', 8 May 1839.
