The headings are then followed by definitions of each, e.g. bermula arti akal itu memeliharakan ia akan diri, and then followed by longer expositions upon each heading, e.g. Pascal yang pertama pada menyatakan akal atau kelebihannya, 'The first exposition, on the consciousness or its advantages'. This text is followed by a series of mystical drawings.
The label on the back cover gives the name of the owner (and most likely the writer) as Syaikh abdul Majid of Lubuk Lundur, with a date of 1360 (1941/1942AD): Inilah keterangan surat buku besar saya empunya atau memiliki gelar serta nama Syaikh Abdul Majid Lubuk Lundur adanya sanat 1360.
The original manuscript measures 22 x 34 cm, and the text block 19 x 29 cm. It is written in blue and black ink, on locally produced paper, and has a brown paper binding. The manuscript is 37 pages long, and contains illuminations and illustrations.
The original suffers from staining and insect damage.
