- Alice; ink drawing; with caption inscribed, 'Alice (headpiece for Chapter 1)' (ff.3-4);
- White Rabbit; with caption inscribed 'Chapter One. "Oh dear! Oh dear! I shall be too late"' (ff.5-6);
- Crocodile; with caption inscribed, 'Chapter Two. "How doth the little Crocodile/ Improve his shining tail,/And... etc' (ff.7-8);
- Mouse dripping wet; with caption inscribed, 'Chapter Three. "Ahem!" said the Mouse with an important air' (ff.9-10);
- Dodo; with caption inscribed 'Chapter Three. This question the Dodo could not answer without... & it stood with one finger pressed upon its forehead' (ff.11-12);
- Alice; with caption inscribed 'Chapter Four. She kept on growing & growing and very soon had to kneel down on the floor' (ff.13-14);
- Bill the Lizard; with caption inscribed 'Chapter Four. "There goes Bill!"' (ff.15-16);
- Alice; with caption inscribed 'Chapter Five. "Come, my head's free at last!" said Alice... all she could see when she looked down was an immense length of neck... a sea of green leaves that lay far below her' (ff.17-18);
- Fish-Footman; with caption inscribed 'Chapter Six. "A footman in livery came running out of the wood."' (ff.19-20).
