Journal of the voyage of the Charles II from England to Surratt [Surat] and Persia, and back, 1695-98 (Captain John Dorrill). The ship visited Gombroon [Bandar Abbas] three times, and Muscat twice, between 28 March and 16 October 1697.
The Journal consists of daily entries covering navigational information, winds, weather, contact with other East India Company ships and English men-of-war; sightings of other vessels, deaths of crewmembers, commodities carried, and general remarks.
