1. Cordoba, Argentina. Asociación Argentina de Cultura Británica. Autograph, 1 sheet. The letter was probably written in 1948 - see Ian S MacNiven, Lawrence Durrell: A Biography (1998), chap. 8: 'Exile: Cordova and Belgrade'.
2. Geneva. Postcard (not franked). Autograph.
3. Hamburg, Hotel Reichshof. Autograph, 1 sheet.
4. Nimes. Typescript, signed, 1 sheet. Beginning: 'good work about Edinburgh; I am just working out my journey'.
5. Nimes. Typescript, signed, 1 sheet. Beginning: 'sorry I have been such a wretched correspondent and non-appearing party'.
6. Nimes. Typescript, signed, 1 sheet. Beginning: 'yes, Sappho is playing on the 21st for a week at the Lyceum in Edinborough [sic]'.

13. Sommières. Typescript, signed, 1 sheet, with envelope (franking obscure). Beginning: 'Just a swift line to thank you all for your concern and sadness about Claude's sudden death'. Letter is dated '10th January', without year. According to MacNiven (1998), p. 552, Claude-Marie Durrell died on New Year's Day 1967.
14. Sommières. Postcard (not franked), autograph. Dated '5th Jan', without year. Beginning: 'It looks as if I shall leave Feb 1 for UK'.
15. Sommières. Typescript, signed, 1 sheet. Dated 'Nov 16', without year. Beginning: 'Yes, Alan Thomas, oldest friend and bibliographer is on the level'.
16. Sommières. Typescript, signed, 1 sheet. Dated 'April 15', without year. Beginning: 'thank[s] for restraining your fury'.
17. Eight small personal cards with messages, three typed, five by hand. With a label addressed to 'Mme Hadkinson'.
