Written throughout in the hand of a clerk associated with Beale (see Add. 48116, ff. 111-125), except for artt. 21, 22, which are added in a mid 17th-cent hand. Comtemporary brown leather binding gilt-stamped and tooled: on both covers a crowned Tudor rose. Probably a trade binding. Green silk ties.
