The text was incorporated in Modus tenendi Parliamentum: or, the Old Manner of holding Parliaments in England, 1659, ascribed to Hakewill. In his preface to the 1641 edition Hakewill refers to a faulty version printed without his knowledge from one of many manuscript copies in circulation; see STC H. 218, The order and course of passing bills in parliament, 1641.
