Paper; ff. iii + 67. Octavo. XVI cent. Written in one small italic hand throughout. On f. 1, in the same hand, is an unsigned memorandum of delivery of an acquittance for a debt to George Quarles (for Robert Sampson), 30 April 1567. Bound in a fragment of a vellum bifolium, containing portions of royal charters to Eton College in an early 16th-cent. hand. The number '353' is written on the front cover: for a number apparently in the same hand, see Add. 48189. Label on front cover 'Apx. X', f. i.
