The present manuscripts later found their way into the collection of Sir Thomas Phillipps, Bart., and were acquired with the residue of the collection from Philip and Lionel Robinson by the bookseller H. P. Kraus of New York: see Catalogue 157, Documents and Autographs relating to England, Scotland and Ireland, [October 1980], lots 10, 18, 34, 42, 69, 89a, 90, 97, 117, 143 and 147.
