2. ff. 14-24. Drafts of poems by George Barker, with his ink annotations. Reversing the volume, one sheet consists of a draft of a letter to T. S. Eliot, while most of the others form part of a draft of 'Documents of a Death', published in Janus (1935); part of the sequence is written on the verso of a draft of a letter from George Barker to Hamish Miles; 1934. Typewritten and autograph.
3. ff. 25-62. Draft of 'Vision of England '38' by George Barker, with his pencil and ink annotations, together with a corrected version, and a draft of 'O Who Will Speak from a Womb or Cloud'; both poems were published in Lament and Triumph (1940); 1938. Typewritten.
