TRUMBULL PAPERS. Vol. CXCI (ff. 149). Miscellaneous correspondence and papers relating to domestic affairs; 1572-1643. Partly Latin and German. Partly copies and drafts in the hand of Weckherlin, with some in that of Sir John Coke. The bulk of the material dates from the reign of Charles I up to the outbreak of Civil War, and includes copies of papers relating to the impeachment of Buckingham, 1626, and to the Scots Covenanters, 1639-1640. Also included are a copy of a commission of Elizabeth I to Sir Francis Walsingham, in Latin, 9 Feb. 1571/2, and a letter in German, of Elizabeth, Duchess of Brunswick-Lüneburg-Wolffenbüttel, to her sister, Anne of Denmark, circa 1610. From Misc. III, XIV, XX, XXXVI, XL, XLVIII, LXI and Add. 2, 7, 13-16, 20, 31, 39, 40 and 42.
