1. ff. 1-45. Twenty-six letters to Trumbull from his eldest son, (Sir) William, mostly written from Oxford and the continent; 1646-1675. Mostly from Misc. LI, Add. 58 and 63.
2. ff. 46-71. Nineteen letters to Trumbull and his wife Elizabeth from their son, Ralph; 1648-1675. From 1674 he signs as 'Ralph Weckherlin alias Trumbull'. From Misc. XLIX, LX.
