TRUMBULL PAPERS. Vol. CCCXXXIII. 'Originall Treaties and Ratifications lying in Mr Secretary Trumbull's Office'; circa 1695-1696. Containing copies, in a single clerical hand, of treaties between various European powers, including England and the States General, 1689-1691, probably made soon after Trumbull's appointment as Secretary of State. Mostly French, Latin and Dutch. At the end of the volume have been added copies of the instructions to Halifax as envoy to France in June 1672, and of the ratification of the treaty between France and Cologne, 30 April 1672 (see also Add. 72578 below). Formerly Add. 119.
