Althorp Papers. Vol. lxxi (ff. ). Letters to Sir William Coventry, M.P.; 1665-1671. These were part of the collection of papers bequeathed to Lady Spencer by Rachel Lloyd (some of the letters are included in Lady Spencer's list in B8), and two have endorsements in what appears to be Halifax's hand. Both Halifax and his brother, Henry Savile were nephews and legatees of Coventry, and it may have been by this means that his papers became joined with theirs.

7. Letter from Henry Brounker, afterw. 3rd Viscount Brounker; 1668.

8. Letters from Anthony Eyre, M.P., and his wife, Elizabeth; 1669-1671. The majority of the letters are from Elizabeth Eyre, who was the daughter of Coventry's sister Lady Pakington, and relate to the setting up of a project in Gainsborough for the manufacture of sailcloth for the Navy.

9. List of letters to James, Duke of York, 1661-1665, and to Sir William Coventry, 1661-1667, from various correpondents; [17th-18th cent]. Only two of the letters listed (from the Duke of Newcastle, 8 and 21 Sept. 1665) are present in this collection.
