Bybie Lake, barr., and others, defendants, 1723 (46/4/1); draft lease of properties in the Strand to Thomas Bott of St Clement Danes, umbrella-maker, 1792, and Peter Elmesley of St Clement Danes, co. Midd., 1801; draft assignment of lease from Elmesley to James Payne of St Martins in the Fields, co. Midd., and John MacKinlay of the Strand, co. Midd., booksellers, 1801; correspondence; particulars of repairs to be carried out, schedule of fixtures, inventory of moveable goods and valuation of furniture at Lincoln’s Inn; valuations, sale particulars of the premises at Lincoln’s Inn and the Strand. The first * folios consist of papers concerning an act affecting tenants in chief of the crown, 34 Geo III; discussion of a proposed Alfreton – Derby road bill, 1802; extract from a 1782 lease of land in Melton Mowbray from Peniston Lamb, Viscount Melbourne, to Mr Staveley; slips of paper formerly labelling Add. Ch. 77177-77211. (45/5/1-36; 46/2/1-39).
