Includes ‘Chestnuts’ (ff. 35-39) detailing the Paul Corder circle, ‘Fenella Lovell’ (ff. 40-44) about Lillian Mortimer, al. ‘Fenella Lovell’, ‘Panic’ (ff. 45-52) about Eleanor’s early timidity, ‘The First World War’ (ff. 53-65) detailing events between 1914 and 1915 and ‘Joan’s Corner: May 1917‘ (ff. 66-71). ‘The First World War’ includes [italics]typewritten[/italics] notes prepared by Clifford Bax (ff. 64-65) on a medium’s appraisal of Eleanor. The principle events from these draft pages were included in the complete draft.
