BARRINGTON PAPERS. Vol. VII. (ff. 366), 1675-1688. Correspondence of Sir John Barrington (ob. 1682) continued, the letters, however, being chiefly addressed to John Hawkins and Tobias Hewytt, his stewards, the latter of whom carries on the correspondence to 1685. Included also is correspondence of and concerning Thomas Barrington (ob. 1681), eldest son of Sir John, relating to property in the Bermudas, 1675 (ff. 10-17), and to his disagreements with Lady Anne Barrington, his wife, 1680 (ff. 110- 116). The latter part of the volume (ff. 147-366) consists of undated letters, arranged alphabetically under the names of the writers. Many of them are addressed by members of her family to Joan, Lady Barrington (ob. 1641). Among the writers are:-
