Vol. XXVI (ff. 174). Rentals, terriers, surveys, etc., 1546-1841. At the end (f. 174) is an original letter, in French, on vellum, dated Sun. in 2nd week of Lent, s.a. [20 Feb. 1345], to [Sir William de Cheyney] mentioning a suit betw. the writer, together with William de Cherleton and John de Somercotes, on the one part, and [Eleanor widow of Sir Guy] Ferre, on the other part, rel. to her dower of the manor of Tothill which belonged to the addressee.
