LEEDS PAPERS. Vol. XXXVII (ff. i + 352). Journal of the House of Commons, including proceedings relating to the Popish plot and the impeachment of Lord Danby (later 1st Duke of Leeds); 6 Mar. 1678/9 -27 May 1679. Another copy is in Add. MS. 28090. Both manuscripts contain the opening speeches of Charles II and the Lord Chancellor to the two Houses on 6 March which are printed in the Journals of the House of Lords, Cobbett's Parliamentary History of England, etc., but the remainder of the text agrees with A True Copy of the Journal-Book of the Last Parliament ... , 1680. 'The same text, but omitting all proceedings for 6-17 Mar. 1678/9 is printed in the Journals of the House of Commons.
