Hallam Papers. Vol. iii b. MS diary; dated 4 August 1837 and begun on Sunday 6 August, ending on Monday 31 December 1838. Julia records the fifth and sixth anniversaries of Arthur’s death. On the 14 September 1838 she records ‘… I was shewn some of Alfred’s Poems, all on one subject, the bereavement of his friend, our beloved Arthur, whose memory he fondly cherishes…’.
