Copyright: © Estate of Oscar Wilde. Eccles Bequest. Vol. III. Typescript of Act I of Oscar Wilde's play, Lady Windermere's Fan, with extensive autograph corrections and additions. It was first produced on 20 February 1892 at St. James's Theatre, London, by George Alexander. Its Broadway premiere was at Palmer's Theatre, New York, on 5 February 1893. Stamp of Mrs Marshall's typewriting office is visible on the title page and elsewhere. Extensive revisions and text added by Wilde in pencil. For the first draft, see Add MS 37943.
