SUPPLEMENTARY WENTWORTH PAPERS. Vol. I (ff. iv+198). Correspondence and papers of the families of Wentworth of Nettlestead and Lovelace of Hurley, with papers relating to the manors of Stepney and Hackney, co. Midd., Water Eaton, co. Oxon. and Hurley, co. Berks; 1648-1721. Partly Latin. Most of these letters and papers seem to have been assembled and retained in connection with legal disputes following the death of John, 3rd Baron Lovelace, in 1693, and are now arranged according to archival origin.
