CORNFORD PAPERS. Vol. VII. Notebook containing approximately seventy-five poems; circa 1945-1950, n.d. Autograph drafts. Chiefly ink, with some ball-point corrections and additions. Some printed items are pasted in. Given to Frances Cornford by Rachel and Alan Ward, Christmas 1945 (f. i). Some of the poems were printed in Travelling Home (1949), Collected Poems (1954) and On a Calm Shore (1960). This volume was acquired in 1974 and is not listed in Stratford, op. cit.
ff. i+30. Author's foliation in ink 1-11 (ff. 1-16 passim). 265 x 210mm. approx. Stiff cover, paper with black, orange and yellow design, orange cloth corners.
