CORNFORD PAPERS. Vol. XIV. Verse translations by Frances Cornford of twenty poems by Louis Aragon; circa 1941-1948. Autograph and typewritten drafts. Some printed material. Some French. Included are various versions of the preface, contents list and each poem, with two complete typescripts, notes and miscellanea. The collection was rejected for publication in 1948, see Stratford, op. cit., p. 109. Part of the present material was among papers placed by Stratford in Add. 56345.
