Imperfect:- (ii) Another draft, beginning at Scott's birth in 1838 and proceeding with genealogical information concerning the Scott family of Willsborough, co. Londonderry, 1696-aft. 1760; [1913?]:-
(iii) 'Recollections of Denmark', 1863, begun at Glengair, in 1913; 1913. Imperfect draft.
2. f. 10. 'Copy of Memorandum found in the papers of Mr Justice Scott & dated 1745'; aft. 1913. Copied in an unknown hand and containing genealogical information relating to the Scott family up to 1913.
3. ff. 11-13. Obituary of Sir Charles Scott; [1924?]. Very largely the same as the obituary found in 52309, ff. 21-23, but a corrected fair copy in a different hand (the same as f. 10 above).
4. ff. 14-17b. Extracts copied from Scott's diary for 18 August 1859 and January 1863, relating to the triumphant entry of Napoleon III into Paris after the war with Austria, and to Scott's introduction to Princess, later Queen, Alexandra, with an assessment of the Princess; n.d.
5. ff. 18-36. 'Letters from Mexico 1866-1868'; 18 Sept. 1866-27 June 1867. Copies of Scott's letters to his family and a few of his colleagues, the last letter incomplete. For the originals see 52300, 52307 above.
