8. ff. 50-68. 'London Pieces', for piano; Nov. 1917 (1, 2), Feb. 1920 (3). The original title (f. 50) 'London: impressions for piano' (comprising: 1. 'The River', 2. 'Ragamuffin') has been altered in blue crayon to 'London Pieces' and the title of the first piece has been changed to 'Chelsea Reach'. The third piece 'Soho Forenoons' was added in February 1920. Engraver's markings. Published London: Augener, 1917, 1920. An edition with MS. corrections by the composer is Music Library, H.403.n.(2.), and proof sheets corrected by him H.403.k.(3.).
