B. 'Plan of Windsor Castle', including the land to the north bounded by the river Thames; 15 chains to 72' in. The layout of the garden shows apparently an alternative scheme to that carried out by Henry Wise 1708- 1714 (see David Green, Gardener to Queen Anne; Henry Wise (1653-1738) and the Formal Garden, pp. 79-81, pls. 26, 27). Watermark, 'PL' monogram, similar to Heawood, op. cit., no. 3021. 927 mm. x 603 mm.
