MISCELLANEOUS MAPS AND PLANS bearing the names (not autograph, with the possible exception of H) of Clement Lemprière (G, H) and Paul Sandby (A-F) and probably drawn in the Ordnance Office, where both men were employed (Lemprière 1727-1746; Sandby 1741-1751). Maps B-D are possibly copies of maps drawn by, or for, Henry Wise (1653-1738), royal gardener. Paper backed with linen. Mid XVIII cent. Transferred from the Department of Printed Books.
