Followed (ff. 31, 33) by letters, 1805, 1811, to Rose as Keeper of the Records in the Receipt of the Exchequer, and (ff. 35-35b) by a 'Catalogue of Books at the Chapter house', i.e. a list of the Exchequer archives (including Domesday Book and the Liber Niger Scaccarii) in the Chapter House, Westminster. ff. 1-36.
(2) Correspondence of Rose as Verderer and (1808) Deputy Warden of the New Forest, 1805-1817, followed (f. 62) by extracts from records and memoranda, 1223-1799. ff. 38-94b.
