Letters Patent of George III, under the Great Seal of the Island of Dominica, granting to George Rose and Rawson Aislabie, merchant, of London, the enfranchisement of the Crown lease of an estate in the parish of St Paul in the island of Dominica; 11 Nov. 1800. A printed form, with MS. insertions, signed by Andrew James Cochrane Johnstone, Governor of Dominica, having the Great Seal of Dominica attached. A schedule (f. 7) contains a list of 213 slaves belonging to the plantation. Large folio.
