(2) 'A politique dispute about ye happiest match for ye Noble prince Charles (sic)' by 'W. Rawley' (f. 15), i.e. Sir Walter Raleigh. Printed as 'A Discourse touching a marriage between Prince Henry of England and a daughter of Savoy' in the Works of Sir Walter Raleigh, viii, 1829, pp. 237- 252. For other copies see Cotton MS. Printed as 'A Relation of the Carriage of the Marriages that should have been made between the Prince of England and the Infanta Major... written by Sir Charles Cornwallis to the Lord Digby' by J. Gutch, Collectanea Curiosa, i, 1781, pp. 133-155; see also T. Birch, Life of Henry, Prince of Wales, 1760, pp. 530-552, where it is printed from Harley MS. 2208, ff. 217-227, with a similarly erroneous ascription to Cornwallis. Another copy in Stowe MS. 156, ff. 80b-95 is described on f. 1b as from Sir John Digby to Lord Fenton. ff. 16-18b.
