WILLIAM MORRIS LITERARY MANUSCRIPTS. Vol. XLI (ff. 51). Morris's diary of Socialist activities, intended for eventual publication (see C.W., xxiii, p. xi) but soon discontinued; 25 Jan. (with retrospect to 23 Jan.)-25 Apr. 1887. Many newspaper cuttings are included. The diary was used as one source by Le Mire, op. cit., for his calendar of Morris's speeches.
