PALGRAVE MANORIAL RECORDS. Vol. V. Rental of the manor, giving detailed locations of lands; dated 21 Sept. 4 Eliz. I [1562]. Latin. Holdings in 'Estmedowe' and 'Rede medowe' in Palgrave have been grouped together on ff. 45-45b. On ff. 2-3 is a list of tenants with folio references. Paper; ff. ii + 45. 315 mm. x 215 mm. A.D. 1562. A vellum deed of 10 Sept. 25 Eliz. I [1583], by which John Pavis alias Deye the younger assigns to Robert Noothe (both millers, of Ipswich), a lease of two watermills, etc., in Ipswich, has been used as binding; on the front cover is the contemporary title 'Palgrave Extent booke uppon the newe Survey there Anno iiijto regni regine domine Elizabethe & c''. A contemporary foliation, 1-41, runs from f. 5 to f. 45.
