Della Chiesa Histories. Vol. ii. Francesco Agostino Della Chiesa: History of Piedmont; n.d. Italian and Latin. Copy. Another copy of the text in Turin, Biblioteca Nazionale Universitaria, MSS. N. II. 36 and N. III. 18 (possibly damaged by the fire of 1904). Title by a later hand (f. 1) 'Storia del Piemonte di Monsignor Della Chiesa contenente la Storia della famiglie piemontesi', followed by the note 'antico originale di quinternetti 18'; original title (f. 2) 'Del Piemonte dilà dal Po, o sia inferiore, e delli popoli Taurini', followed by the later note 'Manoscritto inedito di Monsignor della Chiesa vescovo di Saluzzo', inc. 'Capitolo 1 / Segue al Superiore Piemonte l'Inferiore', expl. (f. 205v) 'e ghiacci sono in parte liquefatti'. Text divided into 28 chapters including pedigrees of noble families of Piedmont. A note (f. 1) crossed out and illegible.
Paper; ff. 205+v, plus one blank after ff. 137, 205. 324 x 218mm. Double signatures in margins of first leaves of quires: - (a) numerical, '1-18' (upper margins); - (b) alphabetical, 'A-S' (lower margins). One Italian hand.
