The MS. is entitled (f. 1) 'Dispacci / Giustin da Riva Proveditor General in Dalmatia / Tomo I / Da 2 April 1705, sino li 24 Febraro 1706 More Veneto'. Inc. (f. 3) 'Serenissimo Prencipe / Avvicinatosi il tempo della mia mossa per il Generalato della Dalmatia', expl. (f. 269v) 'la continuatione delle sue gratie generose / Zara li 24 Febraro 1706 MV'. An anonymous letter (ff. 1-1bis verso), dated 1703, has been added at beginning of the MS., inc. 'Il tuo talento in queste Provincie ... Zara 20 Genaro 1703 MV'.
ff. 260+iv, plus one unfoliated interleaved blank. Modern foliation in pencil 1-269 (followed here), omitting one leaf after f. 1 and nos 131-139 after f. 130. Each despatch numbered in the left margin.
