Including dispatches to Cardinal Antonio Barberini, Cardinal Marzio Ginetti, Prince Taddeo Barberini, Giulio Mazarin, the papal nuncios Campeggi, Bolognetti, Vitelli, Alfieri, and Scotti, and others eminent ecclesiastical and lay figures. Inc. (f. 1) 'Al Signor Cardinal S. Onofrio 18 agosto 1635 / La venuta qua di Monsignor mio Filonardi', expl. (f. 363v) 'Al Signor Cardinal Barberino in proprio / 6 gennaio 1637 [f. 362] ... et con dispendio cerca di contradire quanto può'. The dispatches are copied in rough cronological order: ff. 1-57, dispatches dated 18 Sept. - 22 Dec. 1635; ff. 58-258v, dispatches, dated 23 Dec. 1634 - 20 Oct. 1635; ff. 259-360v, dispatches dated 5 Jan. - 26 Feb. 1636 and 2 Sept. - 25 Nov. 1636; ff. 360v-363v, four dispatches dated 6 Jan. 1637. The note 'Tomo 2' visible underneath the front pastedown. '390' in pencil in top left corner of front pastedown.
