FLAXMAN PAPERS. Vol. IX (ff. 228). Miscellaneous verse, chiefly contributed to " The Attic Chest," a literary club composed of the Flaxman family and intimate friends, such as the Pordens and A. J. Vardill. The writers generally employ pseudonyms, among the most prominent of which Are "moth " and "Malcolm Graeme " for M. A. Flaxman, " Ellen Douglas " and " Stella " for E. A. Porden. included are copies and translations of well-known verses, as well as magazine cuttings and much doggerel.
