Vol. XLI (ff. I29). Correspondence and papers mainly of William Wynne (d. 1765), serjeant-at-law, son of Dr Owen Wynne, Dorothy, the latter's widow, Narcissus Lutterell and William Brydges, serjeant-at-law (for whose relationship to the Wynne family see p. 140 above), 16 Jan. 1696-29 Nov. 1774, n.d. William Wynne was one of Bishop Atterbury's counsel and published The Defence of Francis late Lord Bishop of Rochester, 1723, and three letters of the Bishop are included (ff. 93, 94, 96; cf. also f. 86).
