1. "Com. Ebor. Terr[e] nuper Roberti Constable mi[li]lt[is] Flamburgh" (so the old cover, f. 1). A 16th cent. rental, n.d. [1537- 1541] of the estates of Sir Robert Constable of Flambarough (attainted 1537) in Flambarough and Holme-on-Spalding- Moor (with Bubwith), co. York. At f. 9 occurs the name of John Brainysby, clerke, Master of the collegiate church of Lowthorpe, co. York, and at f. llb that of Sir James Constable, Knt., of Cliffe, co. York, d. 1541.
