LEAKE PAPERS. Vol. XXVIII (ff. iii+88). Catalogue by S. M. Leake II of his own coins and medals (see title, f. 1, in the hand of the Rev. Frederic Pyndar Lowe). The English coins in this collection were sold in 1750 (see 47987, f. 61b, and 47989, f. 125b). Inserted as ff. 2-9b is the printed sale catalogue (with prices and account in MS.), 4 Apr. 1751, of the coins and medals of Charles Hayes, mathematician, who had evidently acquired some of Leake's coins. Cat. no. 104 (see spine). Label no. 24.
