Birth Register, Volume 5: Lists births by name, sex, names of parents, including maiden name of mothers, occupation of father, signature and residence of informant and date from 9th October 1863-4th December 1864 for the District of Freetown.
Original material: 1 bound volume, 9 Oct 1863-4 Dec 1864. The paper is brittle with most of the edges breaking off. The paper is very acidic and there is some mould and mildew damage. There is extensive iron gall from the ink which has eaten through the pages and obscures some of the verso pages. The last three pages are severely damaged, with parts of pages missing.
