Tan bound 'Surrey Desk Diary'. First entry is dated 31st December 1959 and last entry is dated 31st December 1960. There are financial notes, addresses and telephone numbers in the back pages.
Early in the year Alec Guinness filmed Tunes of Glory (1960). Rehearsals began for Ross by Terence Rattigan, which then opened in Liverpool on 29th April 1960 and moved to London in May.
