Black bound 'Surrey Desk Diary'. There are financial notes, telephone numbers and addresses in the back pages, along with some notes on meditiation. First entry is dated 1st January 1961 and entries continue until 18th February, from here onwards entries are very fitful and sparse, often only noting a location. These occur on 22nd, 24th, 25th February, 8th March, 12th-13th March, 8th, 16th, 17th-19th, 22nd-25th, 30th November and 6th-19th December.
In this year Alec Guinness was performing in Ross by Terence Rattigan.
