- Word-processed draft of Oct 1984. Inscribed at various times ‘First typescript. Written for Nigel Clarke who requested a libretto. Then revised more for stage, first i[n] Agenda. Now on disc & further revised’. [1] +29 leaves.
- A photocopy of 1989 of the draft of Oct 1984, with manuscript amendments. Inscribed at various times ‘October 1984, up-dated Nov 1989. Basis of text used in Agenda 1991. The whole play updated 2007’. [2] + 29 leaves.
- Printed text in Agenda, vol. 29, no. 1/2 (Spring/Summer 1991). Annotated ‘Author’s copy. This text has been updated’, and that the working papers are in the Brotherton Library, University of Leeds.
- Two revised word-processed drafts, one annotated ‘Revised from Agenda version, but see A4 file’. The file referred to contained two further versions included in projected volumes of plays entitled ‘Collected Plays’ and ‘Home, Hell and High Water’, see Add MS 89065/3/15.
