Bound volume containing annual reports for 1954-1966 inclusive.
These reports contain lists of past presidents, lists of the officers of the corporation (Patron, President, Vice-Presidents, Council, Committee, Registrars, Treasurers, honorary officers, Secretary and Bankers), the reports presented to the Annual General Meetings (including the balance of accounts, records of investments and reports of grants awarded), tables of annual amounts of grants and pensions awarded since 1890 (or 1900 from 1963), lists of the members of the corporation, and brief paragraphs on rules, subscriptions and donations.
The extents of the reports are given below:
1954-1957 (31 pp.): Combined report covering all four years, with an additional statement on events during this period, explaining that the multi-year report was necessary ‘owing to the change of the Secretarial office and the continued ill health of the Secretary [John G Broadbent]’.
