The notebook includes:
- notes relating to Harwood's participation in the 'Poets in Schools Programme' (October-December 1977);
- further teaching notes, Yarm, County Durham (3 March 1978);
- notes for a review of John Hall, Couch Grass;
- notes for a review of F. T. Prince, Collected Poems, together with (loosely inserted) two prior reviews: by Ted Berrigan (of The Doors of Stone, for Kulchur, 1965), and Peter Porter (Observer, 1979);
- a list of poems to be included in a new volume of poems by Harwood to be published by Richard Caddel (Pig Press), including a note (28 May 1979) that Harwood had written to Caddel to cancel the book ('I'm not ready for it yet');
- loosely inserted at inside back cover: a postcard (16 August 1978) from Allen [Fisher]; an information sheet for issues 11-14 of Poetry Information, which included Eric Mottram interviewing Harwood (issue 14, 1975); 3 pages from Time magazine (15 May 1972) on Wassily Kandinsky.
